Dogs of Hudson is now offering Day
Boarding, which is single-dog daycare.
We’ve built a roomy spot right in
the middle of the action, next to
Roxy’s desk and across the store
from the biscuit bar. This is social
boarding- appropriate for dogs who
like people and other dogs.
With a one-hour minimum, you
can drop your dog off while you eat
lunch, then pick him up and hang
out with him in town. Or leave your
dog with us for the day while you
do all manner of non-doggie things,
and then pick him up by 5:30.
Now you can bring your dog to
Hudson and still get your people-stuff
done!
Want to have your dog trained during her stay with us? We
do that too!
Day Training is an effective format for all
types of issues. We can teach your dog anything from coming
when called to tolerating nail clipping; from cute tricks
like "wave" or "high five"; to not jumping
up on people to greet them. In fact, almost anything we teach
in the standard "with owner" format can be taught
with Day Training as well.
An initial consultation is required
in most cases, and the cost of training depends upon the
number of sessions. One training session is $75 when purchased
with day boarding and your dog must be boarded for a minimum
of two hours (we need enough time to get your dog settled
here, train him and give him rest and play breaks.) Please
call us to discuss training goals and pricing.
Reservations:
You may reserve the boarding area ahead of
time by phone. A credit card is required to guarantee your
reservation. If you cancel your reservation with less than
3 business days' notice, a $30 administrative fee will
be charged to your card.
No-shows are charged for the full
day.
Rates:
$14 per hour for the first 4 hours. $10 per hour for every
hour after that.
A full day’s boarding, from 10am-5:30pm is $86.
A full Sunday’s
boarding, from 10am-2:30pm is $58.
The hourly rate is rounded up to the nearest half hour.
For example, 2 hours 15 minutes will be charged as 2.5
hours and cost $35.
Payment is due at pickup.
Your second dog is half price!
Our policies:
· We
will not allow anyone to interact with your dog other
than Dogs of Hudson staff.
· We will not allow anyone to pick up your dog for you unless this has been pre-arranged.
· Dogs must be in good health and free of communicable disease when being boarded
with us.
· Your dog must be picked up no later than 5:30pm Wednesdays through Saturdays,
and no later than 2:30pm on Sundays unless prior arrangements have been made.
